My husband and I hadn’t been on a trip just the two of us since Hawaii in 2021 and with 2024 looking to be a super busy year for us both, we wanted to getaway just the two of us. Neither of us had ever been to Europe before and Ryan wanted to visit Paris to check out the food scene. So Paris it was! Our friend of ours described Paris as a museum in itself and I couldn’t have described it better myself. The history here is so rich and the beautiful architecture encapsulates the centuries culture that has cultivated here. Photographing Paris was a breeze. Every street, square and corner of this city offered some sort of beautiful vignette to photograph. We also took a day trip to Strasbourg, which sits on the German border. We loved the fairytale feel of this city. This gallery is a mix of digital and film. Film captured on a mix of Portra 400 & 800, Kodak Gold 120 on my Fuji GA645. The black and white images are made on Kentmere 100 with my Contax G1.
