I’m a photographer based in Central FLA.

Photography has always been something I enjoy doing. As early as late elementary school I remember picking up my parent’s camera and taking photos of anything I could (aka mostly my cat). After being “the girl with the camera” for so long, in high school I began setting up the trajectory for my life to become a photographer.

In college, I thought the pinnacle of being a photographer meant shooting weddings, and immediately after graduating I started my business and hit the ground running. I’ve been documenting other people’s “best day ever” for 8 years now and while I still enjoy my job I’m beginning to realize that being a wedding photographer isn’t necessarily the pinnacle of being a photographer. It’s an honor to be trusted by couples to photograph a day that’s so important to them, but I have found wedding photography isn’t the only way I feel inspired and fulfilled in this craft anymore. When I’m photographing the places and moments in my own personal life that feel real and beautiful for me, that scratches that creative itch more than anything.

This portfolio site won’t contain wedding images. If you’re interested in that, you can check that out on my wedding website. Instead photos – mainly on film, of work that I’m personally proud of and are things that brought me joy as I photographed them. Essentially I’m in the process of balancing what it means to do photography for work, but also photography for joy. Thanks for following along as I try to figure it all out. It’s my hope you will discover why photography brings be joy through what you may find here.
